How do I set up as a supplier?
  • Go to the Suppliers page.
  • Click on not yet a member.
  • Insert the security code and press submit.
  • Insert your details and press submit.
  • The message below will be shown if you have successful registration.
    Thank you for your registration;
    Please check your email for the username and password.
    You need to copy and paste the link that is on your email to your web browser for the completion of your registration.
    This email can be trapped in your junk mail or spam email.
    Please check your junk / spam box to ensure this email is not trapped there.
    If you have not received any email within 30 minutes, you need to register again.
  • After you receive the confirmation email click on the link, or copy and paste the link into your web browser.
How do I re-set my password?
  • Go to Suppliers' login page.
  • Enter your username and password and press enter.
  • Click on profile link.
  • In the profile page, click on edit button.
  • Click on the change password button.
  • In the pop up window enter your password and re-type the password in the confirm box and press the update button.
  • If the system has updated your password you will get the message - Your password is updated please logout and log back in again.
How do I upload a product?
  • Go to Suppliers and enter your username and password and press enter.
  • In the page that appears, click on insert.
  • You will see 5 steps.
  • Step1: Select the category that you want your product or service to be displayed in. Then insert your product name and enter the price (which includes GST and delivery anywhere in Australia), then press Proceed>>.
  • Step 2: Enter some keywords for Google, Yahoo and MSN optimisation, insert some text regarding your products. If you copy and paste from another website or MS word you need to press to clean your text, then press Proceed >>.
  • Step 3: Click on browse to select your product image and then click on proceed.  NOTE:
    • Max file size should be 5 MB.
    • File format has to be jpg, jpeg or gif.
    • Image processing can take a few seconds depending on your system.
    • We suggest that you make a square image 300px (w) x 300px (h) height so our system can generate the best image to promote your product or service.
    • Please Note: All files should be named with simple character and should not contain capitals or unique icons such as *?/)$ etc. For example a product name should be image.jpg
  • Step 4: Archive means you do not have it in stock but you still wish to insert your product. If you select 'yes' customers will not be able to see your product or service. Shopping cart? if you select 'no' this means that you would like customers to contact you directly and that you do not want to conduct sales via Carbon Market. All customer enquiries will be directed to your nominated email address.
  • Press preview to see the result.
  • Step 5: You should be able to see the final look of your product or service. You can go back and edit your product or just click on 'save' and this will upload your product or service.
  • Message:
    Your product has been inserted successfully. Please click here to continue.
How do I upload a product to multiple categories?
  • Go to Suppliers enter your username and password.
  • Or, if you have already logged in click on 'my products'.
  • Select the category of your product by clicking on the category name.
  • It will take a little bit of time to load. At the bottom of the page you should see your products or services.
  • There is a copy link near the archive button.
  • Click on copy. Under the copy action select the category that you want your product or service to be copied to and click on fetch categories.
  • You should see the available subcategories - select a subcategory and click on copy into this category now button.
  • You should see the result of the copy.
  • Go to the copied category by closing the page and check if the process has been done correctly.
How do I know I have received an order? What should I do after that?
  • You will receive an email from Carbon Market regarding the selling item, it contains product information, and receipt details.
  • Login to your supplier page.
  • Go to the 'reports' page by clicking on the 'reports' link.
  • You should be able to see the list of all of your receipts.
  • On the email sent by Carbon Market there is a purchase order number which is the reference number from the customer shopping cart.
  • Find the match on the reports page and click on the 'details' button (If you have 2 orders or more with the same number it means 1 customer bought more than one product in one shopping cart).
  • You can deliver each product based on availability.
  • After clicking on 'details', in the popup window you will see the customer receipt. You need to print this out, attach it with the delivery item and post it to the customer.
  • Remember as soon as you see the order on your reports page click on the 'processing' button so you will notify Carbon Market that you have received the order and you are processing the order.
  • As soon as you click on the processing button, it will change to a 'delivered' button.
  • When you have delivered the item you need to go back to your report page and click on the 'delivered' button.
  • When you click on the 'delivered' button the system will give you a notification -
    "This item has been archived in the receipt section".
  • By clicking on the 'delivered' button you will notify Carbon Market that you have sent the item to the customer.
Do I need to confirm the delivery of the order with any parties?
  • As soon as you have delivered an item go to your suppliers login, go to the reports page and click on the 'delivered' button.
  • The system will notify Carbon Market about the delivery item.
  • REMEMBER: When you receive an order in your email address you need to go to the 'reports' page and find the match number with the order number in your email.
  • Click on the 'processing' button, which will then change to 'delivered' button.
  • After delivery, you should click on the 'delivered' button to notify Carbon Market that the delivery has been made.
Does it cost anything to upload my products and services?
  • It is free to register as a supplier on Carbon Market for the first 365 days. Then it is only $1.00 a day to be a supplier.
  • When you register as a supplier you may upload as many products and services as you like.
  • Carbon Market only take an agreed commission, if we sell the product for you.
How do I get paid for sales of my products?
  • Once you have received your order, you need to log in to Carbon Market and obtain your purchase order number, print out your customer receipt, notify Carbon Market of delivery and send the product to the customer.
  • Forward an invoice to Carbon Market Pty Ltd to the postal, fax or email address provided in ‘Contact Us’ at the bottom of the Home Page.
  • Invoice for the purchase amount less 10% (unless otherwise arranged).
  • Include the purchase order number and details on how you wished to be paid.
  • Payment will be processed within 7 working days of receipt of the invoice.
  • Carbon Market strongly recommends dispatching to the customer immediately upon receipt of the order.
